We call for getting health from foods and, advocate to replace pharmacy
with kitchen. In recent decade, along with the research work regarding
red yeast rice has been done thoroughly, our idealities are becoming
praxis step by step.
The further works shown that there are at least five active components
besides Mevinolinic acid (MVA) in red yeast rice:
1. Gamma-Aminobutryic Acid (GABA): It works well in preventing hypertension,
Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer¡¯s disease.(Molecular structure,
fig 4).

2. Glucosamine: It is effective in maintaining bone arthrosis running
well.
3. Lecithin: It can prevents the ageing of blood-vasculars, increases
HDL-cholesterol and enhances the activity of brain cells.
4. Flavonoids: An anti-tumor agent, also it is an anti-oxidation
agent.
5. Dimerumic Acid: An anti-oxidation agent.
GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. It can controls the convulsive
shrink of mini-arteries thus to lower bloob-pressure. The national
health & nutrition institute of Japan and Tokyo policemen hospital
has done a lot of clinical research works and, all reports are available
for reference.
In May 2003, Dr. Audie Leventhal, a professor of the medical college
of Utah university has released a paper in an authoritative journal
¡¶Science¡·.He said that he has injected trace quantity of GABA into
the brain of an aged monkey which suffered from Alzheimer¡¯s disease,
and then found that the visual ability and language of the aged
monkey had got back as a young monkey. Although this experiment
need to be going along, but doubtless it brings a new hope for the
preventing of Alzheimer¡¯s disease and Parkinson¡¯s disease.
Alike experiments are carrying out all over the world now. Along
with the research works regarding red yeast rice have been done
thoroughly, it is expected that the mechanisms of the metabolins
of monascus sp. will be discovered gradually and, more evidences
shown that red yeast rice is a very good health-care food.
And now,the problem we shall to meet is how to catch up the scientific
results, and then, develop a mulriple product of red yeast rice
that contains all the five components mentioned above and meanwhile
keeping its natural characters. It is very difficult for me to develop
the first mulriple MG product. You see, multiple active components;
the ratios of active components will meet the requests of clients;
no adding, all the active components must be natural occurred; all
the three points mentioned above are needed in producing process.
It is very different in seed-selecting, medium-components constituting,
quality-controlling-points and other fields that compare with the
production of normal functional red yeast rice which only considering
the content of MVA. It full of challenges, we should pay attention
not only to the content of a single component but also the superposition
effect of all components.
Although we¡¯ve paid most efforts, but we only developed a simple
mulriple red yeast rice product by now, that is MG red yeast rice.
It contains not only enough MVA but also GABA and other useful derivants.
In order to keep away the bad manufactures to mix up the good and
the false products, we¡¯ve developed a biological Anti-false technology
and have marked my products. I should tell you the details when
you purchase my products. Going with the research works have been
further done we shall develop some new natural mulriple masterwork
red yeast rice to meet the different requirements of clients.
